Mocean Mobile for Publishers solution is a comprehensive toolset that enables complete inventory control for the mobile content publisher. With Mocean for Publishers solution, publishers can:

  • Book and traffic premium advertising that was sold by their internal sales team.
  • Deliver advertising on their site that was sold by one or multiple mobile advertising networks.
  • Specify URLs (a top level domain or sub-level of that domain) to block specific ads from appearing on their pages.
  • Deliver ads based on the content (contextual keyword targeting) of mobile sites.
  • Track results across multiple line items by revenue, content, location, and other targeting criteria.
  • Manage accounts and reporting with a single dashboard interface incorporating realtime metrics.
  • Optimize ads delivery and revenue yield, both manually and/or automatically.

In addition to the basic features provided by an ad server, Mocean for Publishers has several advanced features:

The following terms are used throughout this document:

Administrator (or Super User) The highest level of Mocean for Publishers Networkaccess. This user can deploy networks and grant permissions to Network Managers and Advertisers.
Network A portfolio of sites and orders.
Manager A person granted permission to administer a network. Manager is responsible for creating and managing Sites and Zones, and selling media to the Advertiser.
Advertiser A person, organization or company (generally a brand) that places advertisements on site inventory in order to target customers.
Impression An instance of an ad creative being loaded.
Click An instance of a user clicking a served ad creative.
Action An instance of a user completing a specific action in response to a served ad, such as a click, impression, form submission or other predetermined advertiser variable.
Channel A group of related sites. For example, all Health related sites.
Site A specific site with a unique URL, e.g.
Zone A specific area of a site that contains a rich media, banner or text ad.
Order Former "campaign". A unit of advertising that consist of line items and specifies the details of an advertising campaign. One order is owned by a certain advertiser and generally focused on promoting a particular product.
Line Item A unit of advertising that specifies the details of the sale, such as flight dates, targeting, placement, delivery conditions, cost, etc.
Creative A peace of creative that will run in a line item. It can be a text or a banner, or a rich-media as well as ad feed (piece of ad code that calls another ad server).
