Overview
Mocean Mobile’s MAST for Publishers solution is a comprehensive toolset that enables complete inventory control for the mobile content publisher. With Mocean Mobile’s MAST for Publishers solution, publishers can:
- Book and traffic premium advertising that was sold by their internal sales team.
- Deliver advertising on their site that was sold by one or multiple mobile advertising networks.
- Specify URLs (a top level domain or sub-level of that domain) to block specific ads from appearing on their pages.
- Deliver ads based on the content (contextual keyword targeting) of mobile sites.
- Create separate pricing packages by advertiser or by content.
- Track results across multiple campaigns by revenue, content, location, and other targeting criteria.
- Manage accounts and reporting with a single dashboard interface incorporating realtime metrics.
- Optimize campaign and revenue yield, both manually and/or automatically.
In addition to the basic features provided by an ad server, MAST for Publishers has several advanced features:

The following terms are used throughout this document:
| Administrator (or Super User) | the highest level of MAST for Publishers Networkaccess. This user can deploy networks and grant permissions to Network Managers, Advertisers and Agencies. |
| Advertiser | A person or group (generally a brand) that buys media to reach the users of that media. |
| AdView | An impression or instance of an ad creative being loaded. |
| AdClick | An instance of a user clicking a served ad creative. |
| AdAction | An instance of a user completing a specific action in response to a served ad, such as a click, impression, form submission or other predetermined advertiser variable. |
| Agency | A person or group that buys media on behalf of an advertiser or brand. |
| Channel | A group of related sites. For example, all Health related sites. |
| Network | A portfolio of sites that belong to a single publisher. |
| Network Manager | A person granted permission to administer a network. |
| Publisher | Content or media owner; the person, group or entity responsible for selling media to the advertiser or agency. |
| Site | A specific site with a unique URL, e.g. www.moceanmobile.com. |
| Zone | A specific area of a site that contains a graphic or text ad. |
